In its policy to popularise basketball across the world NBA runs elite academies at various places including India. The NBA fourth Asia-Pacific elite basketball training camp will be held in Hangzhou, China, from June 18-21 this year. 73 boys and girls in the age group of 17 and 18 from China, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and India will attend the camp. For the first time 12 boys from NBA academy India will participate in the camp at China. The players from India are Robin Banerjee, Vivek Chauhan, Jagshaanbir Jhawar, Sejin Mathew, Shanmugam Murugan, Riyanshu Negi, Suraj Pathak, Preshit Pawar, Prashant Rawat, Parth Sunil Kumar Sharma, Princepal Singh and Manoj Singh Sisodiya.
