Bhavnagar, 10th January 2019: The last day of league action concluded yesterday and teams from the south posted important victories.

In the men’s section Karnataka beat Rajasthan 98-90 and Kerala beat Chandigarh 72-46. In the women’s section Tamil Nadu and Kerala beat West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh easily.

Gujarat, Chandigarh (both men), West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh (both women) are the four bottom placed Level 1 teams that have been relegated to Level 2.

Meanwhile, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh (both women), Haryana and Delhi (both men) are the top four Level 2 teams that have been promoted to Level 1.
